Hidimba temple is situated in Old Manali. The temple's construction was under the authority of Maharaja Bahadur Singh in 1553. It belongs to Hidimba Devi, wife of Bheema.

It opens from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM every day. It was made of wooden architecture. Hidimba Devi’s son, Ghatothkach's idol, is also placed here.

  3. Solang Valley

 

 

Solang Valley is situated at a distance of 19 kilometres between Solang Village and Bias Kund. It is also known as Snow Point. The distance from Manali to Solang is 13 kilometres. The nearest airport is Bhuntar.

There are many adventurous sports activities held here, like skiing, paragliding and horse riding. Camping and trekking are the famous adventure sports activity here. December and January is the best month to view the snowfall. Winter is the most suitable time to visit Solang Valley.

  4. Rohtang Pass

 

 

It is situated at the eastern end of the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas. It is 51 kilometres far from Manali. You can visit most of the Buddhist monasteries here.

It is one of the best natural places in Shimla. You can also take enjoy snowfall in the month of September. You can also do some sports activities like hiking or trekking on the peaks.

The Manu temple is situated in Old Manali. It is 3 kilometres far from the main market. The Manu temple is famous for King Manu. This beautiful temple belongs to the sage Manu.

It is said that the world is created by Manu. It was built by Raja Manu around 400 years ago.

  7. Khajjiar

 

 

It is situated in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh. It is an altitude of 2000 metres. It is located in the Chamba district. It has lakes, forests, etc.

Once you visit here, you will never forget the beauty of Khajjiar. The favourable time to visit Khajjiar is October to March. It is also called Mini Switzerland because of the striking topographical resemblance of the place with Switzerland. It is also famous for its green environment.
